CHRISTIAN ALBERT ECKSTROM was born in Blue Earth County, Minnesota on August 10, 1863. He married Annie Eliza Hardy on July 8, 1901. He began his career in Chicago in the offices of Cobb & Frost. Later he managed the office of Henry Ives Cobb in Cobb's absences. A highly respected and prolific Chicago Architect, Ecstorm died on March 29, 1927. He is buried in Graceland Cemetery.
